Housekeeping Items
On the top left of the backend of your website, you will see “Dashboard”. Underneath dashboard are two items, “Updates” and “Simple History”.
Updates: We do not recommend that you perform updates on your own. There are three different levels of updates and any one of these has the potential of “breaking” your website. We recommend that you reach out to our support ticketing system once a year to ask our team to update your website. We encourage you to ask for the price of doing so in your request as it differs website to website.
Simple History: This acts as the eyes and ears of the backend of your website. If you are sharing access with multiple people and someone were to make a mistake, update a plugin, edit something, you would be able to see what happened.
