Your username and password credentials will be sent from an Appnet Support member. Make sure to check your current email!

Step 1

Please make sure that you click MANUAL setup and enter in the settings. DO NOT let the device or platform search and try and find our server settings. It will fail.

You’ll enter in the following information:

USERNAME: will always be the entire email address with everything listed before and after the @symbol. example format: [email protected]

PASSWORD: has been provided, or will be provided to you by a support person

INCOMING MAIL SERVER TYPE: both POP3 and IMAP will connect
INCOMING MAIL SERVER NAME or HOSTNAME: use secure.emailsrvr.com for either POP3 or IMAP.
The incoming mail server username is your entire email address.
The incoming mail server password is your email password.

Step 2

OUTGOING MAIL SERVER TYPE: SMTP is the type, you probably will not have to enter this in

OUTGOING MAIL SERVER NAME or HOSTNAME: secure.emailsrvr.com
Outgoing Mail Server username is your entire email address
Outgoing Mail Server password is your email password

Your Ports should automatically set up correctly. However, for reference they are:

Secure POP3 = 995
Secure IMAP = 993
Secure SMTP = 465

The Outgoing Server DOES require authentication and it uses password as its method. Typically, this is a setting in outlook under More Settings, and the Advanced tab of the more settings wizard. You will see a checkbox that reads, “My outgoing server requires authentication”.

If you do not enter the above settings correctly then the device or software will fail to connect to our server.
