# 1. Log In to the Backend
Your Appnet support representative has sent you your username and password to access your website.
In order to log in to your website, you have to go to yourdomainname.com/wp-admin
Input your username and password, then click “Log In”.
# 2. Click on the Products Tab
Now that you are in the backend of your website, you can see the different tabs on the left-hand side. Click on the tab named “Products”.
# 4. Add the Product Name and Description
The first field on this page is the box that says “Product Name”, this is where you are going to add the name of your product.
Once that is completed, the next box is where you should input the description of your product. This description should include all important information that the purchaser should understand.
# 5. Select a Category for your Product (if applicable)
To the right of the description that you just entered, there is a box titled “Product Categories”. Make sure you select the category that the product you are entering belongs to.
If there are no product categories within this box, but you would like to add categories, click here.
# 6. Set a Product Image
Under the Product Categories box, there is a “Product Image” box. Click “Set Product Image”.
The media gallery box will pop up. You can either select an image from what you see in front of you

You can look at the top of the media gallery box and select “Upload files” to add a new image. Drag and drop your new image into the box. Once uploaded, select “Set product image” on the bottom right of the media gallery box.
# 7. Add Attributes
Scroll down until you see the box titled “Product Data”. Then click on the tab named “Attributes”.
There will be a field called “Custom product attribute” with an [Add] button next to it. Click “Add”.
# 8. Add a Custom Product Attribute
In the “Name” field, type in the name of your variation. This can be Size, Options, Colors, Types, Fabric, etc..
In the “Values” field, type in the options. If your attribute name is “Types”, then your “Values” that you type in could be

*Make sure you are using the “|” separator key on your keyboard after every Value you enter.
Then, make sure you have “Used for variations” checked.
Next, click the button “Save attributes”.
# 9. Create Variations from All Attributes
Click on the [Variations] tab under “Product Data”. This is located right under [Attributes] where you just were.
Click on the dropdown that says “Add variation” and select “Create variations from all attributes”. Then click the button, [Go].
A popup will appear that is titled “Are you sure…?”. Click “OK”
Then the three variations you set up in Attributes will populate.
# 10. Fill in the Variation Information
If you would like to add a picture to each variation, so that when your customer clicks on the variation – it will change the picture, then click the box with the circles and mountains (view screenshot to the right for reference). Then add an image and save.
Then type in your “Regular Price”. In order for the variations to show on the front end, you must have prices entered in for EACH variation.
If you would like each variation to have a different Description, then enter in your description.
Once you are done with this variation, scroll down and continue to the next. Once you have completed entering in all variation’s information. Click [Save Changes].
